Video recovered from the scene appears to show a black Dodge Charger being towed away from the scene. Following the crash, the officer was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, while the two passengers from the other car were also transported to Ryder Trauma Center. The driver of the Dodge Charger was charged with driving under the influence, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of Cannabis.
